Iker Casillas is a Spanish goalkeeper captain of current La Liga champions Real Madrid and the 2010 World Cup Champion Spanish National Team.

He was born on May 20, 1981 in Móstoles, in the Community of Madrid, Spain.

He entered the Real Madrid cantera at age nine, and has progressively moved up the ranks until he reached the senior team in 1999, and has not moved since.

A symbol of both club and country, Iker Casillas has been hailed as one of the greatest goalkeepers in the history of the game, and will hopefully remain so for many more years.
